"A hospital has launched an investigation after reports that two cancer patients died hours after being given an overdose of medication.
Father-of-three Paul Richards, 35, and Baljit Singh Sunner, 36, died within hours of each other on the oncology ward at Birmingham's Heartlands Hospital, the Birmingham Mail reported.
The men, who were battling different forms of cancer, are believed to have been given five times the normal dose of medication.
Mr Richards is reported to have been in remission and on his way to recovering when he died.
The hospital has refused to comment on the specific details of the inquiry, but issued a statement on behalf of its chief executive, Dr Mark Goldman."
