Scientists find blood glucose link to cot death - Independent
Extract:
"A link between cot death and low blood glucose levels has been found by researchers, it was announced yesterday.
A team led by Dundee University found what they believe could be a key piece in the puzzle of sudden infant death syndrome.
They identified defects in glucose production, particularly in premature and small babies, which make infants more prone to risk factors linked to cot death.
Low birth-weight babies are particularly vulnerable to low blood glucose levels and sudden death in infancy."
If you are pregnant, you can safeguard your health and that of your unborn baby by eating as little salt/sodium as possible during your pregnancy. - See http://www.wildeaboutsteroids.co.uk/pregnant_mothers.html
