If your skin is red and you're not a tomato or a
beetroot, it's very likely that you are sensitive to salt. I say this because
salt sensitivity tends to cause skin-thinning and swollen veins. Then because of
the thin skin, the veins are effectively nearer to the skin's surface, and their
red/purple/blue colour makes the skin appear flushed.
